A GCash promo casino banner promises a bonus for paying with a wallet that many Filipinos already use. Since 2025 that promise needs a careful read, because GCash itself says gaming services were taken out of its app. PeraPH runs no casino and has no GCash promotion; this page sets out what GCash and Maya publish and the checks to run on any advert that names them.
GCash promo casino claims after the 2025 change
GCash’s Help Center says that, in compliance with BSP Memorandum M-2025-029, all licensed gaming top-up and withdrawal services were removed from GCash effective 16 August 2025, and the Games service is no longer available in the app. It also describes GCash as not a gaming app and tells players to coordinate with gaming merchants for access options. Maya’s notice says its Lucky Games feature has been disabled since the same date.
Put that next to a banner and the question becomes concrete. A “GCash deposit bonus” is one of three things: an older advert that was never taken down, a promotion by a site that now uses a different payment route, or a lure. Only the first two are honest mistakes, and none of them gives you a working GCash casino deposit.
| What you see | What it may mean | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| A “GCash bonus” dated before August 2025 | A stale page | Ignore it |
| A new GCash promo with a QR code in chat | A possible scam | Do not send money |
| A site listing GCash in its cashier today | Contradicts GCash’s notice | Ask support in writing |
| A leftover gaming-wallet balance | A real withdrawal case | Contact the merchant as GCash advises |
The detailed account of what GCash allows now sits on the GCash casino page. For what a normal bonus is worth once the payment question is settled, read the casino bonus overview.
Checks that apply to any wallet promotion
- Date. A promotion with no date, or an old one, tells you little.
- Source. The terms should live on the site that issues the offer, not only in a social post.
- Route. The cashier should show the payment methods; the support chat should not invent one.
- Terms. The wagering and cap still decide the worth, as set out in how a welcome bonus is valued and the free spins terms page.
Wallet limits are another point to weigh. GCash’s limits changed effective 1 October 2026, so figures from older posts may be out of date, and the article on GCash’s Help Center is the source to quote.
Other wallets and banks follow the same logic. A promotion that names a payment method should be tested against that provider’s own statement, and the provider’s help pages are the source to read, not a screenshot posted by a stranger.
If you have a leftover gaming balance from before the change, keep the dates and amounts of your last transactions. GCash tells players to contact the licensed gaming merchant to withdraw through its own website and channels, and the merchant sets the minimum withdrawal.
Red flags around GCash offers
- A request to send money to a personal GCash number.
- A promise of a bonus “only for GCash users” with no terms attached.
- Logos of GCash or PAGCOR with no link to a source you can open.
- A page that copies PAGCOR’s logo, which PAGCOR has warned can put personal and financial information at risk.
Check any site’s licence status at pagcorguarantee.ph before paying. Players must be 21 or older.
How to Get Started
-
Read the date on the offer
Find when the promotion was published, because anything written before 16 August 2025 may describe a route that no longer exists.
-
Compare it with GCash's own notice
Open GCash's Help Center article on the suspension of gaming access and see whether the offer contradicts it.
-
Pay only through routes the site's cashier shows
Do not send money to a number or QR code given in a chat message.
