A GCash withdrawal in the practical sense means moving the balance in your wallet out to a bank account or another e-wallet. The peso questions are the fee, the cap per transfer and whether your profile allows sending at all. GCash’s Help Center answers each, and this page collects the answers as read on 30 October 2026.
GCash withdrawal to a bank, step by step
GCash routes bank and e-wallet transfers through InstaPay, the real-time system overseen by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, which the BSP says runs 24x7 all year. GCash says a PHP 10 fee applies per transaction, lowered to that figure starting 4 July 2026. Bank Transfer reaches over 40 local banks and e-wallets.
- Open the GCash app and tap Transfer, then Local.
- Pick the bank or e-wallet.
- Enter the amount, the account name and the account number, or scan or upload the bank’s QR code.
- Tap Send Money, review, and Confirm.
The BSP’s InstaPay FAQ sets the per-transaction ceiling at PHP 50,000, and institutions may set their own minimum or daily total. So moving PHP 120,000 means three transfers of at most PHP 50,000 each, at PHP 10 apiece, or PHP 30 in GCash fees.
PESONet is the alternative for larger sums: the BSP describes it as a batch transfer with no stated limit, same banking day, banking days only. GCash does not list a PESONet send fee in the pages read for this guide, so check the app before sending.
Limits that stop a transfer
Only Fully Verified profiles send money; GCash states that Basic users can only receive. Daily outgoing limits by profile are shown below.
| Profile | Daily outgoing limit |
|---|---|
| Basic | No limit (cannot send money) |
| GCash Jr. | PHP 100,000 |
| Fully Verified | PHP 500,000 |
| 5M | PHP 1,000,000 |
| 10M | PHP 1,000,000 |
Sending to another GCash user uses Express Send instead, with 500 send and 500 receive transactions a month before a PHP 5 charge per extra one. GCash may also update or pause limits to follow BSP regulations and anti-money-laundering mandates.
| Problem | Fix |
|---|---|
| “Send” is greyed out | You are on a Basic profile; complete verification |
| Transfer refused over PHP 50,000 | Split into several InstaPay transfers or use PESONet |
| Sent to the wrong number | Contact GCash and the receiving bank at once; InstaPay is final |
Fees add up when you split a large sum. Moving PHP 120,000 in three transfers costs PHP 30; moving it every week for a month costs PHP 120. For a regular transfer, a single larger send that stays within the PHP 50,000 InstaPay ceiling is the cheapest route, and PESONet is the route the BSP describes for amounts with no stated limit.
Check the receiving side too: the BSP says InstaPay is available 24x7, but the receiving bank or wallet may apply its own minimum or daily total, so a transfer that fails at PHP 50,000 may pass at a smaller amount.
A related warning: money out of GCash is a different question from money out of a casino. GCash says gaming withdrawal services left the app on 16 August 2025, so read the GCash and online casino payouts page and the online gambling legal in the Philippines page before relying on any payout route. How to Get Started
-
Confirm you are Fully Verified
Basic users cannot send money, so open Profile in the GCash app and finish verification with one valid government ID first.
-
Open Transfer and choose the bank
Tap Transfer, then Local, pick the bank or e-wallet, and enter the amount, the account name and the account number carefully.
-
Review, send and keep the proof
Tap Send Money, confirm the details, and keep the receipt, since InstaPay credits with finality and a wrong account must be reported fast.
